Directly dyes the very fibers of your apparel
Sublimation creates the definition of quality, one-of-a-kind custom apparel. What makes it so awesome is that because the ink is embedded into the fibers of the garment, it does not impact the shirts breathability and ability to wick moisture, plus it looks sleek and will make your team or business stand out in any crowd.
TRIO Sports and Sustainability
At TRIO Sports, we are also working towards reducing greenhouse gas emissions and aiming to be climate positive throughout our entire production chain. We combine both the Sublimation process along with using Recycled Polyester to create a green and environmentally-friendly product for our clients.
Sublimation is an eco-friendly printing technology. No toxins are used in the dye sublimation process, which protects our workers and the environment. There is zero waste because the dye does not come in contact with any water system. And by using sublimation we are saving water, too. We also use recycled polyester fabric that is made from recycled plastic products to create our custom garments, which further protects the environment. By combining the Sublimation printing technique and recycled polyester we get the most sustainable result.
Sublimation at TRIO Sports
This method is mainly used when customizing technical garments — such as tee shirts, long sleeve shirts, rashguards and pinnies — made from polymers or polyester. Sublimation involves using heat and pressure to print the inks directly into the fibers of the garment. In comparison to Digital Garment Printing or Vinyl Heat Transfer, the ink will never fade, crack or flake away leaving you with a design that will last as long as your shirt does!
With setup fees being pretty minimal for Sublimation, it's a great option for small to medium orders. If you don't have your own artwork or need your artwork edited, we are happy to create some awesome designs for your team or business for an additional fee. Give us a call or shoot us an email to ask about a cost estimate for Sublimation.
